Looking for something new to do this winter? Join Green Mountain Adaptive Sports on Sunday, January 25, 2026, 2-4pm for an afternoon of fun on snow at the Craftsbury Outdoor Center (COC) in Craftsbury Common, VT.
This event is free and is targeted at Vermont youth and adults with different abilities and their families. Present will be trained cross country ski instructors from the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, and other professionals serving individuals with disabilities to provide instructions, and support as needed.
Free cross country ski equipment including sit skis will be provided for participants and their families, and homemade cookies and hot cocoa will be served.
Green Mountain Adaptive Sports partners with the Craftsbury Outdoor Center to provide adaptive cross country skiing annually. The main goal of this event is to introduce individuals with different abilities to the sport of cross country skiing, as well as to get new and seasoned participants of all ages on snow for an afternoon. All participants MUST pre-register using this online form. Please provide us with some information about the individual with the disability so we can make sure they have a successful experience at Craftsbury.
