Stowe Adaptive Mountain Bike Weekend
August 21-23, 2026
Green Mountain Adaptive Sports will host the Stowe Annual Adaptive Mountain Bike Weekend on August 21-23, 2026. We are proud to welcome Adaptive Sports Partners (ASP), New England Disabled Sports (NEDS) and the Kelly Brush Foundation (KBF) as our partners of this annual event. They will join us to support, to ride, and to provide equipment and volunteers in this collaborative event.
This event is limited to athletes riding e-assist mountain bikes. We will have a few demo e-bikes available for people to borrow but riders are expected to bring their own bikes. As of May 18th, we only have 2 bikes left to lend.
The general plan is to ride the great trails at Cady Hill Forest in the heart of Stowe, Vermont on Saturday, and ride at the Little River State Park in Waterbury, or The Driving Range in Bolton on Sunday morning. We will not participate in the Race to the Top of Vermont this year.
The event is $65 (includes a jersey, lunch, and 2 days of camping). Athletes can choose to participate in one day only, or both days. Companions and volunteers can participate for free, and if desired, purchase the jersey for $50. All jersey orders need to be placed by June 15th. All participants MUST fill out the registration form below. If this fee is a financial burden, contact Pascale to apply for a full, or a partial scholarship.

- Saturday, 9am-3pm, ride at Cady Hill Forest. We will all meet in the Springer-Miller/Inntopia parking lot (782 Mountain Rd, Stowe 05672) (NOT the one next to the church, on the other side of the building.)

- Sunday, 9am-1pm, group ride, location to be determined.
- Volunteers will ride with the group on e-bikes (please try and find one to ride for the weekend, if not, one will be provided if needed.)
- ALL participants need to fill out the form below to register for this event.
BEST DAY EVER MOVIE
We are stoked to invite the athletes participating in the aMTB camp and the whole community to a free screening of the BEST EVER MOVIE at Stowe Cider on Saturday, August 22, 6:30 PM. The movie will be followed by a panel discussion. If you are not familiar with this 48-minute documentary, Best Day Ever follows the stories of Burlington-based adaptive mountain bikers Greg Durso and Allie Bianchi as they navigate the relentless challenges of their disabilities and embrace the tremendous support, friendship, and joy they find in their rural Vermont riding community. This free screening is possible thanks to the support of our friends at Zuccarello & Associates and Stowe Cider. There will be a raffle at the door to help support the event, and GMAS.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
