Mark your calendar and start making plans to shop and eat out with friends and family on Tuesday, November 28th for Giving Tuesday! Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity and is always the first Tuesday following Black Friday, which marks the beginning of the holiday shopping season.

For the second year in a row, Green Mountain Adaptive Sports has the support of local businesses who will donate a 10% to 30% of their sales back to the organization on Giving Tuesday. In some cases, the businesses are continuing their commitment for a few more days before, and after the Day of Giving on November 28.

Green Mountain Adaptive Sports is hoping to raise $10,000 from the #GivingTuesday Campaign, which is part

of the GMAS CommUNITY Challenge where individuals are fundraising for the organization. The local adaptive sports chapter plans to use the funds from this campaign to offer scholarships to an increased number of people with different abilities so they can participate in GMAS Adaptive Programs.

GMAS invites everyone in the community to eat, drink, and shop on November 28 and support all of the participating businesses by visiting their establishments. We also encourage people to make their own donation if they can. Every dollar helps, and will be used to provide access to adaptive sports to over 100 local youth and adults with different abilities so that no one gets left on the sidelines in 2024.

The GMAS Annual #GivingTuesday celebration will be held once again at Sushi Yoshi where all can enjoy food and refreshments, and a chance to win incredible raffle prizes generously donated by local business. We hope to see you there, or visiting your favorite local establishment for the Day of Giving!  Thanks for the love and generosity.
