Collaborations and partnerships were on full display at the 14th edition of the Stowe Monoski Camp at Stowe Mountain Resort on January 11, 2026.

The event is hosted and organized annually by Green Mountain Adaptive Sports. Other adaptive programs are invited and welcome to join the event, bringing athletes, coaches, equipment, and volunteers.

This year was no different, marking our largest collaboration to date. A total of 27 athletes participated, traveling from near and far to learn, network, play, and gain knowledge they can apply throughout the rest of the season.

The programs and organizations present this year included Stowe Mountain Resort, the High Fives Foundation and the Kelly Brush Foundation who have also been our main partners for the past years. Athletes, coaches, volunteers, and equipment were provided by our friends from Spaulding Adaptive Sport Centers (MA), Stowe Mountain Resort (VT), Move United, New England Disabled Sports (NH), Stride (NY), Summit Adaptive (CT), and Adaptive Sports Foundation (NY).

The on-snow activities kicked off bright and early Sunday morning at Spruce Peak. The athletes were grouped by skiing ability. Beginner monoskiers joined one-on-one lessons, and novice monoskiers joined small group clinics led by PSIA-AASI certified instructors, including 4 monoskiers. Two athletes also got to ski in the TetraSki with our instructors.

The more experienced and advanced monoskiers joined group clinics led by Geoff Krill, Senior Sports Coordinator at NEDS and Adaptive Examiner for the PSIA-AASI Eastern Division, and by Chris Young, World Cup and Paralympic Champion, X Games Champion, and volunteer at the Spaulding Adaptive Sports Centers.

According to Keja McEwan, Director of Operations at Spaulding Adaptive Sport Centers, “We have a great group of athletes and instructor/volunteers this year. At quick glance of this list, we easily have over 300 years of combined adaptive ski experience among our instructor group.”
